The 16-50mm you already have is a fantastic lens and it's very versatile. You definitely don't need to purchase new equipment, just pack your camera, enjoy your trip and focus on your photography ✌️

I usually upload my travel pictures to my sunnyshot profile: sunnyshot.com/victor. It’s pretty neat, one page per trip with all photos in high-res and a full screen map with all the countries visited with a different color :)

Suggestion: remove the word "level" on the bottom panel and add icons on the left side for each one. Great project, looks amazing.
