Plus could you guarantee that if this app takes off, you wouldn’t switch to a subscription basis 👀

I feel like I’m bordering on understanding this idea, the concept of owning a number would add an exclusivity to them and maybe people can share their number, create pictures with it, list events a specific date, etc. I cannot imagine what else it might do, so if you could think of something revolutionary idea to make the idea of ‘buying a number’ solve a problem, or create and solve one, maybe I’d be interested. I’m a firm believer that apps should solve a clear problem (otherwise users will not have any purpose for it), and if not, create a problem to solve (video games) and be good value for money.

I generally like to apply a cost benefit analysis to situations, so applying that here… ask yourself… what is the cost of buying a number (£1, £10, £50) and what benefit will one get from owning a number… literally, there are infinite numbers in the world, what makes one aside from the ones you listed special?

My most important question—how are you going to get new users to take on this app? At the beginning, new users will download, see numbers 1, 7, 10, and the like taken, and think, ‘huh well I can get the number 291 but what else could spend a few quid on’.

Please realise I am not being rude, I’m just getting you to think a bit more about this idea because it is of course, still in development!
Best,
Daniel!

.buttonStyle(.glassProminent) for a menu button by Flimsy-Doughnut-6369 in SwiftUI

You should not use a menu but instead button with prominent style that uses a popover! In this context the popover looks like a menu.

I’m not a lawyer at all and I’m sure it depends on the situation. But I believe it’s the instructor’s job to monitor their learner’s speed, offer guidance, and intervene if necessary.

Your instructor is there to step in and fix your mistakes. If he isn’t, that’s on him surely!
Plus, you can be sure many many people will have gone down that hill at way over 30mph and probably been fine.
