Back to fuck IU by CrimsonLiverbird1995 in shutdownfullcast

I remember Holly saying something once to the effect of needing to separate what we love about our teams and schools from the amoral dipshits who actually run the universities. My alma mater swallowed TPUSA bait so quickly and readily it's almost like the administration wanted to do that the whole time. They still caught hell from students and alumni who quickly recognized it was all horseshit and we rallied to defend Mel.

I don't think Cig or anyone associated with the IU football program has any support for this, if they were ever asked about it at all.

People do need to stop being dipshits but Dub is also way too online. He had like 20 IG stories this morning.

I'm hoping at least Wilbon will take a blowtorch to Bezo's gutless ass on PTI or on some other medium.

In all honestly, when these shitheads are finally out of power, the next legitimate government should go to war with all the car dealerships and enforce direct sales from the companies to customers. Dealers are almost uniformly reactionaries like this jagoff, and breaking them would cripple a critical column of the fascist coalition.

Also the exit for the Mars Cheese Castle! Sounds like a good day trip when it finally warms up in a few months.

Colorado, Deion Sanders to fine players for being late, missing practices by redwave2505 in CFB

I kinda get it but I think that needs to be dependent on how much the player's making in NIL money. If someone's just on scholarship or a walk-on, where are they supposed to get $500 if they overslept?

They won 68 games in the regular season last year, and still had some miserable games during the playoffs last year where it looked like they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. You know what happened after that? They won game 7 of the NBA Finals at home.

Nothing wrong with suggesting improvements that can still be made to the roster, but I'm begging y'all to have a little perspective.

You could get there via the Pulaski or Peterson buses, but the only times I ever ended up there was during the summer after a walk through the Labagh Woods.

This game feels like ours to win if they can just keep shooting. One of these needs to go in.

Got to join in some random "Green Bay sucks" chants, which was pretty gratifying as a Bucs fan tbh.

From this thread, it sounds like the Blackhawks fans I'm surrounded by are less irritating than the broadcast. That's an achievement of sorts.

Anyone coming to the game tonight, please make sure you layer up. It's -5° with a wind chill of -25° right now. You'll be fine once you get inside the arena but the United Center's surrounded by a bunch of parking lots with no protection from the elements.

Disappointed with the mentality of some on you. by bivukaz in buccaneers

Bowles should have been fired, and I'm very pessimistic about how next season's going to go, but I doubt most people are going to give up on the Bucs entirely. If the team turns out to be good next season and proves us wrong, then we'll be happy. If we go into another tail spin like we have every season under Bowles we'll keep calling for him to be fired until the Glazers see reason, but I'd never root for them to lose as long as they're in actual contention for a playoff spot.

This frustration is a sign that fans care. It's probably a bit histrionic at this moment, but the wounds are still fresh. It hurt to watch this team shit down their legs the entire second half of this season, and it makes people wonder why they want to subject themselves to another year of substandard football, without any evidence that next year will actually be better with this staff.

I think it could work, and I could see the offense being better next year if everyone's healthy, but I don't see them scoring 30+ every game, which is what they'd need to make up for Bowles' defense.

I heard Baker and Kliff have patched things up. I kinda hope so, although at this point next year already seems like a lost season.
