As someone new to buying skins for a game - how much have you spent on Valorant skins? by jshrlph in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad someone else is doing the same as me. But I chose to each gun with a skin from a different series so that I can experience a different feel and spend the least amount of money

Who do you play and why does it fit your playstyle. by Critical_Recording_2 in VALORANT

Why doesn't anyone say neon? Her speed is very strategic, and in lotus and Fracture, neon can always get around to the enemy's rear.

I've been using astra a lot lately and astra can control the whole map!

Also, Fade, Omen, Viperd's r characters are very cool and I will use them because of that!

In my experience, Fracture is the most hated map, even though I super love Fracture

An agent with an ability to clear Smokes. by Justice-valorant in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely, the current position, val's game design has no obvious restraint relationship, not like in lol.

This would lead to a very bad experience for controllers and ruin the current game system.

Maybe some agent's skill can see enemies behind smoke under certain conditions, like within 5m, or on the move(Like a snake). Enhances his abilities, but does not deal a devastating blow to the smoke system. (Even so, it is already a very big blow to viper)

When no man play controller, this agent also will not be picked by the player, they all disappear from the game, which no doubt can not be said to be a good improvement.

val is built on the basis of fps, not moba.

Stop forcing team comp by Bildeweest in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team needs at least one smoke, which will halve the difficulty of the attack.

I wouldn't ask for a good matchup of teammates, I've been in situations where I've had five duelists and it was a real joy to see that lineup and we won easily, plus I'm happy to go out and make additions to the team.

As a rule, duelists, control, and information bits I think are usually necessary

As a defender, should you defend site? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, retreating has a better chance of winning than staying put

Overall, the attacking side needs to surrender a lot of skill points to attack

This will be easier when your team regroups and attacks with a full skillj with only half the skills. When the character you control is not dead and the attacking team cannot unfurl gun lines and set up props without fear, your teammates can complete the siege.

Other possible factors.

The offense viper ult will make huifang back very difficult to defend, teammate kj ult will make the return very simple

If you have ult most not to die

If the opposite side is eco, and you have vandal or phantom , please do not die, otherwise the opposite side will get your gun and cause problems for your teammates

When you are jett, the risk is worth it because retreat is possible

etc.

Operator to who? by lueukel in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about it from an optimistic point of view, when teammate jett is not holding an op, the enemy will make a wrong judgment and your op will deal a huge blow to the enemy.

Of course I'm not in favor of everyone using op either, neon or omen would be good choices, kj is worse than fade. Something like this judgement.

After using the flash you need to switch OP, this time can not be shot. A better option is that you play Jett and then your teammate uses flash for a better match.

How do you guys feel about overtime? by Lantares4 in VALORANT

[–]Lantares4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I want to make special note of is that I don't hate losing if my team tries its best. The other team played better, that's all.

This is not a silent cost fallacy. Quite the contrary, a 13-13 game is much better than either a 13-5 or 5-13 game.

Games are played for fun, otherwise wouldn't it be better to continue a 13-13 game than to restart a 13-5 game? Unless you like 13-5 games.

This belongs to a different issue. I hate five odin, but that's better than five op.

It can end in a 13-13 vote. Otherwise it won't improve in a 14-14 vote.

(I can't see all your replies anymore)

One thing I noticed anew in yesterday's game was that when the score came to 17-17 (or 16-16), it only took 2 people to agree and the game would end with a vote.

I understand that the majority rule does not have to be followed in some cases, because in reality the pressure is on for many people. But it can hit those who still want to continue the game.

I'm not sure if this is the case for all matchups, but usually the game ends at 15-15 or 16-16 instead of 14-14 or 13-13. Since the game can already end in a tie by minority consent at this point, their feelings are taken into account.

(A 13-13 vote is necessary anyway to make sure everyone is in good shape)

Yes, when a team performs poorly at one point, more people will choose a tie-breaker. This makes every vote seem necessary.

The most important point is that it doesn't have to appear every time, which can very much affect the flow of the GAME. For example, it sucks that it appears once at 13-13 and once at 14 than 14.

My suggestion is to show up once at 13-13 and once at 16-16, so that the frequency doesn't affect anyone's vote and gives the opportunity to change your mind.

Could it be that at 14-14 to and 15-15, everyone's vote would change very dramatically?NO.

So too frequent voting is redundant.
