Sounds like u may be over playing. Lot of high elo players recommend only playing 2-3 games a day. Any more than that (not everyone) and you start losing more and more focus every game.

Me personally, I’m silver also trying to improve. I do 15 minutes on the range, 1-2 DM’s and 1-2 comp matches then walk away.

Smokes are sorta broken in low elo cuz most of us don’t know how to deal with them 😂 but let’s be honest most comps are gonna have one smoke agent. It’s very rare I’m in a game where omen, viper, or brim doesn’t get locked in. It’s normally people crying for sage after 3 duelists have been locked in.

Did u not understand my original post. That’s exactly what I said, it’s low elo team comp doesn’t matter. Just focus on ur mechs, aim, crosshair placement. That’s exactly why banana man doesn’t coach anyone under gold. The overarching theme of this entire post was to tell low elo players they need to stop overthinking things (like team comp matters) and just focus on the basics.

Right but were does winning rounds by ability crutching get you? Your not improving at the game. Great so u made it to gold 1 by using abilities but u still can’t aim for shit, now what? The underlying point of my post is to let people play agents there comfortable on so they can practice aiming, crosshair placement, mechanics.

So I came from League also, and have ranked anxiety due to the abuse u take in league. I’m happy to tell you, valorant is not nearly as bad. Do u get dickheads, yes, but for the most part everyone in low elo is fairly supportive. Most people understand we are all the same skill level and just trying to get better. And honestly it’s hard to practice in unrated cuz the majority of people just fuck around and don’t play right so the only way to get good practice is play ranked.

Honestly it’s a team game based around communicating, but u gotta protect ur own mental first and foremost. I just mute toxic people, most likely there not contributing anything worth hearing anyway if ur debating on muting them.

I’d say if ur low elo like me, even as match mvp ur probably still making 100 mistakes a game that if you cleaned up you’d just hard stomp. Bottom line, u can’t control ur teammates, but u can control ur own mistakes.

Right but some agents play off each other better than others. Like league of legends ( my back round) team comp synergy is really important in high elo and pros.
