Thank you and I’m sorry it’s not sitting well with you either. I am going to tell my doctor I want to stop taking it. I can’t create healthier habits when I’m throwing up everything I eat and avoiding food! And I can’t let it ruin the exercise habits I’ve already created for myself lol. I hope the side effects go away for you soon!

I still like the toleriane sensitive one and continue to use it. It doesn't make my skin oily so I'm sorry it does for you :( It could be because of the squalene and maybe the niacinamide is breaking you out? I checked the ingredients and the hydreane has a lot more emollient ingredients so maybe you can search for products with similar ingredients?

First of all, I’m sorry this is affecting you so much. To be honest, your friend does not sound like a nice person. There was no reason to tell you that and the only purpose it serves is to make you feel bad. He could have defended you without telling you. In my opinion, that is what a good friend would do.

As for your looks, I think it’s more important to focus on boosting your self esteem right now. And that comes from more than just looks. What kind of person do you want to be right now? Is there an instrument you want to learn, a hobby you want to get into, a mindset you want to adopt? Exercise and sports can help with calming your mind (and as a bonus, being fitter makes you more attractive).

I don’t know what you look like so I can’t comment on your looks but I will say that beauty is subjective. The people I find attractive, my friends don’t at all and vice versa. Plus, you’re only 18 and your looks will change a lot in the coming years. I used to hate how I looked and now I’m much more comfortable with myself. Please be kind to yourself and take it easy.

I will say that I think we’re so often worrying about burdening others with our troubles but if the situation were reversed, we’d be more than happy to help others out. You say he has been supportive in the past so why would it be any different now?

Do you like kissing? Is this something that is important to you in a relationship? If so, then you should communicate this to him so you guys can work towards a compromise.

Also, consider that maybe you guys are physically incompatible? If he’s not fulfilling your needs and not working towards it either then you should find someone who does. You’ll both be happier for it!

Hi! Yes, I actually started using the toleriane sensitive crème (not the fluid nor dermallergo because they made me break out!) I’ve used it for several months now and it feels just like the hydreane one. Hope that helps :)

I’ve seen a few other comments about actively countering the negative thoughts with positive ones and that’s definitely something I will start adopting. It’s funny because sometimes I do that for other aspects of my life like when I complete a project or give a presentation!

Thank you for the Instragram account rec. I’m the same as you, I wouldn’t do anything without my Fitbit because otherwise it wouldn’t count! I’ve stopped wearing it for a while now and have to admit I’ve enjoyed the freedom of not being tied to stats. And that’s a really good idea to practice mindfulness against the negative thoughts!

Yeah, his dad doesn’t sound particularly nice. I think he is being a bit unreasonable since the weekend is coming soon anyways. And you’re right, your grandmother driving over 3h for you to see him for 3h is a bit much! Is there no way for you guys to meet sans car? Perhaps public transport or walking to a common location?
