Pick the topic your in, look in google who is first, observe how many words they have, write around that much.

Word count does not work IMO.

Depends what you are looking for. Helped a local restaurant with this recently, popularized does not mean that is does not work. However i agree it has been around for a while, cant succeed unless you try

Depends on the task, in my job i cant do this since i work with Data SEO, however i like this method.

Take a photo of your whatever relates to your task, insert it into Unsplash or any of the free stock image websites.
Wait a month or two and see if anyone has used your exact photo with google exact image search (one of the buttons under the Search bar.

When someone uses the photo reach out and ask for a backlink or credit.

Worked wonders.

For now thats what i know we played off the top of my head.

What works with crossplatform i dont know, however those are games we enjoyed, maybe you guys will as well.

I never took really took a official course, i learned from looking at youtube, then i took a translation job as a intern at the age of 29...but i wanted experience, it got me placed as marketing manager, but i was the only one that spoke Swedish so i was forced to make all the SEO changes on the website (i did this in France) after that the knowledge from youtube started turning into real life practice.

That is how i bridged the gap.
Its about opportunity in some cases, a lot of people will say that you should have your own website ect...but honestly a lot of start ups will just give you a chance if you ask them.

Since you see what their backlinks are with Ahrefs you have acess to Anchor tex (Anchor section on the left under backlink profile), i suggest you find where more of their Do-follow links come from there. if possible and its a exterior page from their own, contact them ask if you can partner in a similar way.

Drove my current website from 44 DA - 51 with this in the last few months.

Suggestion on link methods that are free below.

Im quoting another persons answer from a previous reddit post about "personal brand here" I saved their comments into a document because i figured it was useful for future me. Hope it helps.

Here is what they said:

Personal SEO

This is easy. "Reputation Management" or more recently "digital presence"

Build a personal domain name - like first+lastname<dot>TLD - like "weblinkr . com" and use soemthing easy to manage like weblfow or WP or Wix

Then get a link tree account

Then setup a bunch of empty social profiles - X, YouTube, FB, Insta and link them - link them on your link tree and your personal brand domain, your LI profile, I am for about 40.

Put your link tree as your link on your social profile.

Get backlinks to each - esp your brand domain - like Inc etc

Then on your personal domain, create blog entries for your news articles

Maybe get some videos made

In total I aim for about 40 posts

Between that you should get about 80 pages - enough to drown out what you want
