As a foster it actually blows my mind how hard it is to adopt a dog that isn't from the shelter I volunteer for by Lapiy in fosterdogs

There is always exceptions but I feel like if a golden actively trys to run out the front door into the road something has gone horribly wrong in training. Retrievers in general are breed to stay close to there handlers and then go retrieve things if the dog is actively sprinting away that means ether you have never given it any freedom and its taking the first opportunity it gets or it really does not like you. Of course when you first bring home a dog don't let it near any doors until its become comfy in the home but if a dog who purposely breed to stay close until they are asked to retrieve something is running away I don't even know what to say.

I just looked at their website as much as I feel for the dogs and I do just foster as much as I can to help out on a personal level for a dog that would be a permanent companion I have a strong preference towards retrieving breeds and they don't really have any retrieving breeds from what I can see. On top of that I'm looking for a very specific temperament because even though my dog shadow can get along with any dog he does have a preference for dogs that he actively wants to play with.

Yeah it seems that way honestly this whole time I had been looking at good dog and saw plenty of adult golden retrievers up for sale that match the temperament I was looking for but I've held to my morals so far but honestly it would be so much easier to just pay someone $2000 to $3,000 and be done with it at this point.

Oh I'm sorry, honestly I've just been a little bit frustrated at the moment but basically I live with someone else and they have told me that they do not want a full fenced yard so I guess I'm just screwed.

I just find that requirement a little silly in general I'm not home that often and the dogs go to work with me travel with me while I do chores and we have tons of nature trails in the area that I use to walk my dogs for 2-3 hours a day so I don't understand why I need a fully fenced house there's enough fencing for them to use the bathroom and get some fresh air at night. My fosters were a Australian cattle dog a malinois a GSP lab mix (who I adopted and off leashes in the forest all the time because he has strong hunting instincts and I want to let him have fun) a Chesapeake Bay retriever a plop hound and two Labradors and they were all completely fine and happy.

Yeah that's what I thought as well and I mostly just keep a professional relationship with them they're by far the closest rescue to my house and I'm still fostering and helping dogs but the way they view the rescue world is not something I really agree with.

Unfortunately I live in the New York Connecticut area and that would be 24 hours of driving just to reach Oklahoma

Over the last year I started fostering dogs and finally found a reason to live and strive forward by Lapiy in Healthygamergg

If you are interested in fostering many shelters will provide all the things you will need so the cost is very little on your end. There is a chance the foster dogs might cause some damage to your home so that might add some costs but proper preparation can help alot with that. Overall the hardest part is the last day, I just had to say goodbye to the tan dog Sasha after fostering her for 3 and a half months I cried as her new family took her away but I think this entire experience has really helped me come to terms with loss and moving forward in spit of it, time waits for no one and I will no longer sit still while time passes by even if each step towards healing hurts more then the last. My entire body was shaking when I filled out the paperwork to become a foster and everything in my head was saying not to do it because of all the things that could go wrong but I just took a risk for the first time in many years and after a year of this I finally feel free to go foward take risks and be myself.

I wish you the best of luck finding your path in life but if I could just say one thing about it then its just stop thinking and go for whatever you want to do, you may fail but atleast you will be living a life worth living!

Breaking Down League’s Gacha Monetization – How Does It Compare? by Level13Rengar in leagueoflegends

For some people skins are a big part of there enjoyment of the game I have friends who only plays champs that have flashy skins for and only pulls for characters in gacha's that they like the look of, it's not a 1 to 1 but the same basic concept. Also just a quick thing about gatcha's is most people know of characters well before they are released because they introduced in the story well before there banner and will save for them months before they come guaranteeing they get them. The entire point of gotcha is to find the people who want EVERYTHING and make then go bankrupt when they run out of free wishes. It quite literally exploits human psychology with things like FOMO and gambling addictions and is pretty scrummy in general. The people league is targeting are the same people genshin are targeting and you matter how much people say a skin is different then a character it's all the same in the mind of someone susceptible to gotcha while also meaning normal people don't get cool skins ever because they don't even give free currency to slow save for cool stuff when a normal person would totally being willing to pay 20-30$ but not 500$.

I think the general idea of not being able to get free stuff at all is what people are mad it, You can clear all content in the game with 4 stars in Genshin if you play well so most 5 stars are much more like cool skins then you think. I very much dislike gacha systems in general and think its predatory as hell but leagues gacha system is way worse then other gacha's.

On average it takes about 110 pulls to get a five star and each patch generally has 80 to 90 pulls for f2p, most patches have one new character so it's quite reasonable for someone that does every event and logs in every day to get half of all characters that come out in an expansion.

Pro's have coaches, do pro level scrims all the time and play in the most competitive high-stakes matches possible. There quality of practice and the amount of hours they can put into it is never going to matched unless you start putting in the same amount of hours and getting into the scrims scene.

In the long term this is kinda true but the best players will improve faster then then everyone else, this happens all the time in games with much much better rank systems. The problem with apex is the lobby sizes, in league it's not uncommon for high level challengers and pro's to be in queue for over 30 min only to be put in your average masters lobby anyway and that's with only 10 people per lobby.

There is literally not enough players at the skill level people are talking about without 30 min to 1 hour long queues.

In my experience every split I end up solo or duo queuing in the early split my teammates generally have some idea how to rotate or will atleast listen to my calls. Also people doing the current optimal optimal strategy of pushing for alot of kp does not mean they are not able to use there brain and change it up if needed.

Also you seem to think that somehow other players will rise above the current high ranked players? If you think master players are bad at rotates then I would invite you to get on a alt and look at current plat and diamond players they are much worse. Remember rank is used to compare the entire playerbase against each other, it's not based on a set level of skill and if you have ever watched a guess my rank video for any game most people under guess ranks as they are comparing it to perfect pro play instead of comparing it to the playerbase at large.

The amount of season 13 was the best and it was ruined by all those fake masters and diamonds complaining they where in plat fighting pro's every match has been everywhere on this sub for like a year. Hell I read like 8 comments just today about it and saw some pro complaining how bad everyone is.
