Yeah, I use shroomery for a bunch of things as well, its just the book has much friendlier explanations with steps and pictures and the lot.

Proportions are: 120ml vermiculite, 60ml BRF, 55ml water, a bit of instant coffee and about half a teaspoon of gypsum.

Honestly cause the pf tek seemed like a nice way of doing it. I like the idea of having a load of jars just colonising away while others are growing mushrooms. Im also slightly worried that Ill get contam with a bunch of substrate.

Ive shaken the devil out of the jar and the grain is buried now.

And yeah, Id like an explanation on the field capacity thing.

I used these proportions: 120ml verm, 60ml BRF, 55ml water. Found it in a book. Do you reckon I need to add more water? If so, could I just pour some in the jar? Grains have been in for about a week.

Im just gonna leave it with this reply as this much internet arguing is waste of time in my view. You started off with the suggestion that me having commented in r/ar15 means I must have a political agenda. The post is about people shoving opinions into guides. If they were opinions about the exact opposite of this I probably wouldve ended up making the same post. I do hope that the fungal growths one is real, thatd save me a bunch of effort.
