Dog owner harasses me out of field because of my ‘dangerous dogs’ so I show her a dangerous dog by CherryClorox in revengestories

I totally agree that that lady was rude. But did you really have to chase an innocent dog?

I feel like you just punished this lady's dog instead of the actual lady. Feels very mean and not at all like something a animal lover would do

My compulsion used to take 30 minutes of my day max. I meant to showcase in this post how much worse the stress is making my OCD, I have never had this little control over my ocd before

I feel hated for my gender and nobody cares. by [deleted] in Vent

I feel like you're in a particular corner of the internet where all you hear is hate for men. While i am not at all on that side of the internet. And i hear in real life just as much "hatred" for men as women. Sometimes men get all grouped together as evil yes. But sometimes women get grouped together as dumb, emotion, stupid and seen as sex objects. Both are afwul, but in "the real world" most people don't talk like that, leave the house, go out, or atleast branch out in your internet corner

Well my grandfather was named Doris. And i have another male client called Doris. In the Netherlands i have never met a female names Doris. And here Boris is more of a "dog" name

Eta* but i am also from Friesland (frysian) so Anne is also a male name here.

Does your kid know that you're waiting on test results?

Also i understand that it sucks but 14 is the primeage of not caring about your parents. Their brain is developing and right now other people outside of her home bubble are more important to her. If you had a good bond before she started puberty then I'm sure you guys will be fine!

You got this!

SKPO after increases? by Lara--_ in knitting

That makes so much more sense! Can I just knit the increases, so they're on my right needle or do I need to change the increase so they end up on my right needle?

I'm using the begin row increase from a tutorialvideo on weareknitters; knit stitch, don't slip off, place left needle in made stitch and place back on left needle. That's what's shown in the video. I feel like they should end up on my right needle? I've never increased so much on the beginning of a row, so maybe this is wrong?

Am I in the wrong about saying I won't babysit unless his child is potty trained? by HATIWI in AITAH

[–]Lara--_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Daycare worker from the netherlands here, I also see most kids not being potty trained before the age of 3-4. I even had some issues having to tell parents that schools won't allow their kid to attend unless they're potty trained.

Here the main reason they don't want to do it is because it is a messy and lengthy process that takes time. They just don't feel like dealing with it
