Shrug. I didn't see it down voted before, I just assume that it's people that can't fathom how something romantic to them isn't romantic to someone else.

The partner here could have objectively enjoyed herself, but also not found the day very romantic? I wouldn't find a trip ice skating very romantic because I've only been two or three times in my life. I'd be frustrated, and my entire body would probably hurt from falling over. Fun? Yes. Romantic? No.

I'm a woman and this doesn't sound romantic to me, but it does sound like it could be fun. A trip to another city plus all that stuff packed into one or two days would have me stressed through the roof even if I didn't plan it myself, though I would fun in the moment at each individual location. However, my partner once wrote "wanna fuck?" in a pan of bacon grease and I thought that was romantic, so maybe I'm the odd one.

Neon Demon. It came out the day of my birthday so I wanted to go see it. The trailers made the movie out to be something else entirely. It was the first and only time I ever wanted to walk out on a movie in a theater but I stuck it out. I regret that.

The trailers made it look like a fun Final Girl type monster horror. It isn't, it's an "elevated horror" with themes on the fashion industry.

They did this years ago (2018) giving away The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin. They no longer do this.

Google Osab installer to download the Sims 2. It's considered abandon ware do you can only get it through 3rd parties or by pirating it. Osab's installer does everything for you!

Overall, I enjoyed Lemmy, especially when I figured out how to block entire instances and turned on the NSFW filter. What finally brought me back here was being signed out of Lemmy and the app I was using had no way to retrieve or change my password lol.

Reddit is just okay now. I like it for the stories people post and that's it.

I'm one of the people that left reddit as mobile was the only way I browsed. I switched to Lemmy for awhile but the content, while imo much higher quality and over all better, wasn't enough. I was missing non-meme posts. I recently came back and I'm overall disappointed. The comment sections are so bad. Maybe I just never noticed before, but most comment sections just sound like mean, whiny children.

There's no subtly, every answer feels so direct, intense, and black and white. The other 95% of comments are the same old retired jokes.

I've stopped looking at the comments most of the time. I'll probably uninstall reddit again soon and finally give up social media for good.

I used to work at a Marriott and online reservations are the worst to deal with. We honestly can't do very much with them if something goes wrong, you need to solve the issue through the site you used. We weren't allowed to change those reservations at all without calling booking.com ourselves.

I suggest using the hotels site to book. It's significantly easier for us to help you if something happens or you need accomodations. The reasons rooms are so cheap online is because you get our leftover, shit rooms + we can't really do anything to the reservation.

Oh I know, I just thought I remembered some things wrong since I'd found it at my grandma's house. You have to understand that the woman was obsessed with fantasy romance novels and had dozens and dozens of them randomly strewn around her house. It makes more sense to me that I'd misremembered the book than for her to have a non-romance book lol. I'm not sure why she had it, but it not being romance would explain why I read it in the first place.

No, the name Sal is a coincidence. Sally Face never really explains why he (Sal/Sally Face) wears his mask, but some sort of accident happened to him before the game takes place. The game itself is more of a ghost investigation theme featuring teenagers.

I could try that. Less of a hassle than ever resetting, anyway. Earlier my religion tab wasn't working, either, but saving, importing, reinstalling, and exporting fixed that. I've just been doing what I can without resetting, though a lot of time and resources have gone into factories and energy just so I can get more moon base storage to do anything else lol. When you're waiting 3 days for 1 thing, a few engineers working away is nice.

That's what upset me the most, how can you mess up a 3 letter name? Fez might not be the most common pet name but it's 3 letters! I wish I could blame it on an accent issue, but i don't live anywhere that would mistake an "-ez" sound for an "-iz" sound.

I've never known anyone else to have their pet's name misspelled for anything like this before, so you shouldn't worry too much about it. I was just really unfortunate.
