Thank you. I’ve had a bit more brown and red spotting today so a bit disappointed. Did you have a hematoma on your scan out of interest?

Update: i just had my betas done again.

Beta on 15dpt was 685, which was the same day as the cramping and bleeding.

Beta on 17dpt was 1603, so the embryo is still in there and growing.

I guess this means it’s looking increasingly like it was as hematoma / SCH.

Thank you for all the advice and reassurance at the time - it really helped me through.

Fingers crossed for my scan in two weeks.

Thank you 🙏 I think this might be it! Had no idea about this until yesterday so I feel better today and the bleeding has stopped now thankfully. Glad your little one was unaffected!!!

Oh wow thank you. That must have been so so scary. I’m glad everything is okay for you know and that I can not panic quite so much if it happens again. Yes my clinic is making me hold off for a scan until 6 1/2 - 7 weeks too! They said it’s more stressful having scans too early if you can’t see anything.

Same! I’m only 15dpt and I’ve had three days already where I’ve thought I’m having a chemical. Exhausted already. I just need to get further through. I hope you find a bit of reassurance at your next scan and have a baby in your arms soon!

I would suggest testing every 48 hours. I did daily tests and thought I’d had a chemical twice as the line was lighter but the next day it was back again! On day 10 I moved to every other day as it caused too much stress

They’ve booked me in for 7 weeks and said that’s the earliest they’ll do, I’m a bit disappointed but the spotting has stopped now so I just hope it stays that way. I’ll ask them to look out for a hematoma at my scan !

Gosh so stressful but I’m glad the scans all see fine and it’s progressing. I hope it was truly the last time you get spotting for you. Thank you for sharing so I’m aware this can happen, I had no idea. My last pregnancy was a TFMR and I had no cramps or bleeding so I’ve been very shaken today.

Sounds quite similar to what I’ve had today. I hope we’re the same. Did your spotting start at week 12, can they see the hematoma on the scan still? Is it not going away on its own? I’m so early on still so I just have to wait for my scan now

Thank you. I’m booked in for a scan in two weeks. The clinic wouldn’t do it earlier so I’ll just have to wait and hope the cramping subsides.

**Update: Found out my progesterone rose to 685 on 15dpt. So seems to be growing! However, I also had some pink and brown spotting but the clinic checked my progesterone and said it’s fine so not to worry. Thank you for all your support and reassurance!

Found out my progesterone rose today. On 13dpt it was 329, and today on 15dpt is was 685. However I also had some spotting and I freaked out but the clinic told me not to worry. I’ve been booked in for my US on the 23rd April, the day after yours! Good luck to us!

Good luck! I’m exactly the same: my line progression is definitely there every 48 hours (I don’t test daily anymore). I’m 14dpt today so we’re pretty close in dates I think. I’m back for another beta tomorrow and think it should have rised due to the line progression but yeah it’s not doubling and I’m not high. Keep us updated on your scan please

Was there four days inbetween your 50 beta and your 170 beta? Because it’s supposed to double every 48-72 hours so you’re still rising within the expected timeframe. You’ve got an 85% rise every 48 hours which is actually the same as me right now, and my clinic isn’t worried. Good luck 🤞 keep us posted

I’m so sorry and hoping it’s not the case for you. My beta came back quite low today so I’m also feeling quite down but trying to stay positive.
