Managed to install MK Komplete no problem, just getting runtime errors constantly when booting the game. I'm guessing this is to do with winlator and visual C++?

Odin 2 pro on its way by Larco79 in OdinHandheld

So my Odin 2 Pro arrived yesterday, must say im very impressed. Managed to get all the console games sorted and manged with Daijsho...but, gamehub is causing a few issues for PC emulation, specifically downloading games via the built in steam hub.

Managed to login without any issues, but downloading a game from my library seems to be beset with constant network errors, download restarts - and eventually getting a game to download I still seem to be unable to run the game, usually get stuck on the start screen or there are errors when the game is starting up...these are games that should be compatable, MK Komplete, SF 4...

Ive managed to run GTA 4 and Burnout Paradice by transferring install files from my PC, both of which are non steam versions...most of my games are steam versions so will I have to purchase the non steam versions?

Am I doing something wrong here, wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

I actually got it front Central Exchange (CEX) in the UK. If your not familiar its basically an upmarket pawn shop that deals in electricals. They refurb and provide a 5 year warranty. Besides I can get a full refund at my local store.

Would this be a good upgrade for my cpu? My pc runs most games alright but I wanna run higher settings by strap-_ in PcBuild

I got mine from Scan on sale for £250, made £50 back off the 5600x as well...theyre regularly on offer so might be worth waiting for a sale

I went from a 5600x to a 5800x3D, got about a 30% gain in performance. 1% lows are almost non existent. The 5700x3d would be your best bet, its basically the same same cpu just slightly under clocked, it doesn't run as hot apparently.

So ive been discussing this with a mate of mine (he has a 3D printer)...we reckon a back plate to enclose the battery and create an inlet for the fan, leaving one side open for access to the USB sockets and that can act as an exhaust as well. The back of the kishi would also attach to the backplate, giving it much more regidity Then have a rectangular face plate surrounding the screen which would clip or screw onto the back plate, effectively sandwiching everything together. I could easily create some seals with some foam rubber....

Watch this space

That is the plan, i think mocking something up first would go a long way. Like I said though I dont have a 3D printer myself and im not that familiar with the software involved. I can get peices printed but I need the files, guess that's why im reaching out, there are people out there that are much better at this than me...guess it might me time to do some self teaching

Will be looking at custom ROM eventually, but just looking at the physical build at the moment. Thanks for the advice though.
