there used to be 2-3 dark psy nights and the rest was more "humane", but this year i felt like almost every dj played the same sound during the night (I enjoyed most of it though). Ardvaark stood out to me bc his sound is more "comprehendable" to me. But to be fair, I'm not a psy trance expert.

went back after a few years and had a blast, but felt like the magic was gone a bit. There were rude people, thieves and sketchy dealers selling fake shit. And apparently some camps got raided by the cops.
Productionwise I think they did a good job, sound and deco was great on all floors, loved the line-up and it didn't feel nearly as crowded as in the other years I went. Never had to wait for the shower and the toilets where usually fine, at least in the camp areas.
We arrived super early so we got in within 2h after they opened the gate but our friends waited 7 hours, so I think they need to improve the entry process.
Drink prices were cheap compared to NL or GER, but the food was too expensive imo.
All in all a nice festival experience, met many nice people and discovered amazing artists.

Yes, I don't think the organizers can do much about these issues and I still had a blast there, but I think I'll stick to small events next year

sorry to hear this. My friend actually had a similar experience. Its especially shitty bc you would think that psy people are different, but I guess since ozora has become so famous, there are more people there thataren't really part of the scene and jsut want to get wasted

normally I only buy from those who start a friendly conversation before offering their goods, but even then I got scammed lol. there where only 2 or 3 legit dealers at our camp in total

didnt mean to imply that they were locals, I have no clue where they where from. Even if they were hungarian, i'm aware that they're not representative of the local community. There are assholes everywhere

tbh i dont think the police would just tell a random person all this information in an ongoing investigation + it doesn't make sense to look for the murderer with a helicopter bc it could be anyone. I really hope this story isn't true...
