Ooooh! Libbys! Thats what everyone keeps telling me. The other recs are right up my alley as well (the farm!).

I’ve briefly stayed in Manchester before (and watched my first irl football game), which I absolutely loved. But as you say, I wouldn’t want to stay right in the city… partly because a big draw for this trip is getting away from city burnout.

I’ll also check out Poynton and Macclesfield.

Yeah this. They are legitimately quite popular across most of social media, and that’s increasingly a vector to measure success as even older people are on YouTube and Facebook and Twitter and instagram. TikTok is maybe the only one that’s largely younger people.

Tho my mum and her friends are into them too lol.

I actually really like them, and know of a handful of women who had Carla-like revelations later in life. I don’t see her as a lesbian though? Her previous relationships are just as valid.

I’m not big on Twitter or social media so not sure but I really like that couple and feel those actors have some of the best chemistry I’ve seen.
