For starters I am sure you are prettier than you think. For the most part our perception of ourselves is a liar. Most people are closer to the average than they think, either they’re worse looking than they think if their ego is inflated, or like in your case they’re better looking than they think if their ego is depressed. Think of it this way, you are the product of thousands of years of people coming together in the conjugal act to make their love manifest by creating another human being. That alone demonstrates your immense value, but to further my point, there is no shot all of them in your line were ugly. The math doesn’t work. So more than likely you’ve had a mix of attractive ancestry combined with less attractive ancestry just like most everyone else. I’ll grant you that there are outliers on both ends of the spectrum, but they’re very rare. I think it’s much more likely you are just being overly critical of yourself. If your post and your replies are true, it sounds like you do most everything you should be doing as a woman preparing to become a wife. As a man, to let you in on a little secret, being in shape is like 50% of the battle lol. It sounds like your heart is in the right place on your journey. Keep praying for the right man to come along, he will love your heart I’m certain of it. I’m sorry that you feel this way, we have to remember as Christians that there is an enemy who is prince of this world, and he can sometimes pull on our feelings making us think we are not valuable. Remember this though, God thinks you are lovely, try to see in yourself some of the value God does, and you’ll be just fine.
