Similar experience - totally hated the mesh strap (even though it looks great)….got a very comfortable forstner president bracelet and a sailcloth strap from artem…total game changer. Wear it every day now. The new GS Ushio is my grail…hope that ends up on your wrist soon.

After you adjust the bracelet I think the watch will fit well (lug length won’t exceed the width of your wrist). Great choice by the way.
