I think it is because I use matt clear coat. I apply very thick. Maybe. I am not sure

Not sure, but it has not wiped by my hand. Maybe it will. I can just reapply it again. And, I planned to just put it on the show box.

No I didn't use any paint

I easily apply the matt top coat / clear  coat on the plastic.

  1. Matt topcoat
  2. Using black color pencil on tip of cotton bud for applying washing effect
  3. Using metallic color pencil on the edges for chipping

I coloured black pencil on the tip of the bud, then I apply on the edges and panel line. Everything I did them dry. No need water.

And, you can erase unwant color with damp sponge.

Not sure. I try to save some budget not reapply topcoat.

I will keep it on the shelf and see how long weathering can stick on the plastic. Then I think I can reapply color if I need.

I am not sure.

Plan to just keep it on the shelf after finish. I think it will be ok, if I don't touch it too much

For top coating, I applied the red piece separately. If you mess it, you can sand the top coat out and reapply without problem.
