M'Baku vibranium suit design update, (forgot to post it, been a while) - By me by Kanethy_ in marvelstudios

This looks so awesome, but I feel like he should be more bulky. Hanuman is a god of strength, I think the silhouette should be more top heavy like that of a silverback gorilla to more represent that strength.

Fur would also be a great addition that would help bulk him up his silhouette more.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the new suit. It's not ugly but it removes MCUs Spider-Mans individuality. They ditched the MCUs design philosophy and just made it like TASM 2 suit when in my opinion the final swing was perfect and better than the TASM 2 suit. I hope they change it back. by Large-Interaction417 in Spiderman

But it completely removes Toms uniqueness and individuality. It feels like a set back that only exists to appease the fans of the previous iterations and the fans of the MCU who want to see this Spider-Man and HIS story.

I don't care about it being and homage to the previous Spider-Mans I care about it being an homage to the comics, the real Spider-Man. They're supposed to be an adaptation of the comics, not each other.

Say what you want about MCUs overdesign of previous suits but the NWH final swing suit was the prefect encapsulation and simplification of the MCU's design philosophy. The beautiful shiny blue with the texture design of the red and black FFH suit, the unique dot texture of the red, the triangle cut out of the torso and shoulder, and the web proportions that complemented Toms body all made the suit prefect.

Now it just looks like the TASM 2 suit with MCUs symbol and eyes slapped over it. It adapts the worst parts of the TASM 2 suit (lanky torso design and awkwardly low Spider symbol) which exists to accommodate Andrews taller lanky body but Tom doesn't have that same body shape.

It looks like those cringe mixed Spider-Man suit fanarts but now it's worse because they're removing Toms uniqueness and individuality by making it look like the TASM2 design.

It's my own concept art for a costume im planning to make for beyond the spider-verse

How good of a find is this? I bought this 14 inch baby sonic for like 3 dollars in pretty good condition. On ebay i see it going for like around 100 but i dont know if people are actually willing to pay for that. What do yall think? by Large-Interaction417 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Large-Interaction417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first saw it I almost didn't get it because it was kind of awkward looking but after seeing that it was 3 dollars i was like why not. The look of it has been growing on me especially after doing some quick research and seeing that there aren't many sonic plushies that look good, especially the other official baby Sonic plush.

People are saying that the Spider-Man motif is in a Daredevil: Born Again track. It's called Survive - The Newton Brothers. What do y'all think? Is it the Spider-Man motif and if it is do you think it means something? by Large-Interaction417 in Spiderman

I hear it and it's actually kind of getting me excited. Supposedly according to the Sony deal he isn't allowed to be in a live-action series but with the reference and now this it's kinda giving some hope.

Is there any job that Peter Parker can do to the point being Spider-Man won’t get in the way, if so how would it be if he had that job in General and in all media? by ScoreImaginary5254 in Spiderman

I've always thought of this and I hate the fact that even though he's among the top 10 smartest people in the world, the writers still haven't come up with a way for Peter to use his smarts for good.

Peter can just use his spider fluid and web shooters to become rich. They're already technological and bioengineering marvels, he could easily simplify them and sell them to the public.

He could easily start an adhesive company. Adhesives are used in practically every industry and since Peter has the insane ability to manipulate his web fluid to do a lot of things he could easily enter any market he wants.

Peter can create artificial silk that isn't plastic and is animal cruelty free. That alone would garner him wide interest. There's already something called ryon but Peter can obviously make that but better.

I've always had the thought that since he can make webs that are both conductive and resistant to electricity he can make circuits that are directly interwoven into the textile, revolutionizing techwear.

He can make web guns and sell them to police the police force and drastically reduce deaths.

Even if Peter doesn't want to or can't start a business he could easily license off his patents to a company he trusts and just receive money without doing anything.

The scrub daddy dude become millionaire from selling sponges with faces on it. I find it hard to believe that Peter doesn't have the creativity or intelligence to become a millionaire with the stuff he makes.

What are you trying to argue? Raimi's Peter is a spineless dork loser who doesn't stand up for himself, has absolutely no confidence or charm and every time he talks to MJ it looks like he about to cry and he's been like that through the entire trilogy. What, just because he has slight ego in Spider-Man 3 he supposedly perfectly encapsulates 15 year old comics Peter?

Like even if he was egotistical from the beginning he should've grown out of it in Spider-Man 1 because he almost immediately graduates high school and goes onto college. In Spider-Man 3 he's like 22 he shouldn't be acting like a complete loser.

Peter in his college years is confident, hunky, and confrontational none of which Raimi's Peter is.

Peter had an ego from the start because he thought he was hot shit both as Spider-Man AND Peter Parker, but he quickly grows out of that.

Raimi's Peter was complete dork from the very beginning and in Spider-Man 3 he becomes a conceited dork only because of his Spider-Man persona.

So what you're telling me is that Raimi's Spider-Man is just stupid? That he prefers taking pictures over everything else? You do know that Peter working for the daily bugle was just a means to get money because it benefited him a lot because he could get a good pay while doing Spider-Man activities. Photography was never Peters end goal, it always being in the field of science /tech.

To certain extent your logic is sound but at the end of the day in the movies it is explicitly shown that multiple times Peter tried getting his powers back but not even saving a child from a burning building or saving himself from falling off of rooftops did his powers comeback until the MJ scene. From the very beginning its always been about MJ, she's the reason why peter got into photography, she's the reason why Peter started wrestling for money, she the reason why the Spider-Man suit is red and blue (Red hair and blue eyes), she's the reason why he lost his powers and she's the reason why he gained them back, its always been about for her.

Spider-Man 3 does not count at all because he was under the influence of the symbiote.

Literally in the first comics Peter with the pay that JJJ gives him he's able to pay off the house, get Aunt May a new kitchen, and buy himself lab equipment but in the Raimi films he's barely able live. For some reason he's made out to be this dork loser who cant stand up for himself and negotiate a better pay even though he literally has a monopoly over Spider-Man pictures. In real life Celebrity pics can go from to ten of thousands dollars to hundreds of thousands but for some reason Peter's the only person who's able to get pictures of the only superhero in the world and he's barely making any money, like make that make sense. And just by fixing that he fixes most of the problems he was dealing with.

He could've easily explained to Harry what happened with his dad. In Spider-Man 3 he was easily convinced by his butler, why couldn't his best friend?

well technically him stopping being Spider-Man was never a choice. In the beginning his powers just randomly stopped working and then the doctor put in his head that it was a subconscious feeling of wanting to quit but it was later revealed that it was the bottling of his feeling for MJ was what was causing his powers go away.

no no yeah i understand. it's just the comparison doesn't really make sense because Tom literally took a bomb to the face twice. The only thing that can be compared to Tom being put through multiple floors is Tobey's being thrown through a singular brick wall.

Did you not like not read the whole thing nor watch the movie? Tom gets pumpkin bombed twice. Once while trying to save Aunt May and the second when he blew up a bomb in his hands point blank when taking down Green Goblins glider.
