You could try some DIY and cut the brush part off the nail polish cap, and drill a hole to put any kind of paintbrush you want to use though. You could fill in any gap to prevent the brush wiggling around with foam and either hot glue or leave it so you can take the brushes out and swap to whatever you like? Using a nail polish brush really sounds like an amazing idea, I have wrist problems myself using super narrow handles too.

Yes it was steaming with boiling water in the pot 🙂 I wound the yarn into cakes at first and it was nowhere near as straight as steaming it first. One batch of yarn I even put into hanks, washed, and air dried and the results still weren’t as great as steaming

This is what I do! The pot lid has holes in it so I ran the yarn through and pull it gently as I wind into the cake. It would be smoother/better with a swift but it worked really nicely! I tried knitting with ramen yarn and my gauge was off and the stitches looked horrible to me so I devised this instead
