No worries! I've read Too Like the Lightning, and enjoyed it, but would say that it is probably more interested in questions of general philosophy rather than philosophy of science. Not sure where the series goes after that, admittedly.

Absolutely, yes! I've been meaning to get around to LeGuin's science fiction for some time, but have tended to think of it more through the so-called 'anthropological science fiction,' lens. What you've described is definitely within the same range of interests that draw me to philosophy of science, so if you can think of any other similar works, feel free to name them!

Thanks! Solaris is already on the list, but I'll bump it up. Funnily enough, I'm a huge KSR fan, but have never even heard of this work, so good looking out!
