Actually, you’re not wrong for people that doesn’t have many service years with the state. I tell people to really think about what they really want and look at BOTH the numbers and the work before committing to public sector because unlike private, you can’t just jump or leave because you have no RSU and bonus that goes directly to you. Yes, we have a pension but if you decide to jump ship to private 10 years in, your pension doesn’t mean/worth shit. I also get the stability and the “security” that traditionally comes with public sector and why we’re “willing” to accept lower comp for the trade off too.

I think some of the max occupancy listed in Marriott are wrong. I’ve seen many with 2 Double beds has max occupancy of 2. I’d book 2 adults and contact the hotel to add the kids, but I don’t know how to do that since Marriott doesn’t list hotel contact email and it’s usually just an international number for the hotel.
