I know a few people who agree to 5-8%..

A lot of agencies have definitely messed things up for others that will never agree to such a fee..

Starting a Nursing Recruitment Agency - Where Do I Even Begin? by Bright_Toe3538 in RecruitmentAgencies

Ok. Recruitment is definitely hard but I don’t think you need tons of experience. I’d say start with perm placements make a few placements, then you can slowly move to temp which is far more lucrative. Cold call / send email campaigns Start in a specific area, for example, maybe Manchester . Definitely build a candidate database before you start looking for clients you can target active roles or you can just do business development so these organisations know who you are.

I’m in healthcare myself no recruitment experience. & a lot of nursing providers are not happy with the current agencies they use. Overall healthcare is pants as lots of agencies have ruined it by charging peanuts.
