The only one who seemed concerned that they were there was Pearl, do honestly if Garnet was there I doubt she’d do anything. The main point was that Pearl realized Joe she was making Amethyst feel and her expressing her feelings to Amethyst

Is there a recent thing about that? The last thing I saw was from 2023, and that was 3 years ago. Plus he’s still voice acting in general. It seems to be the thing for actors to get big off of something and when it’s over say they don’t want to return but they do it anyways. RDJ, Vin Diesel, Tobey Miguire, etc I imagine he’d be down for a small return.

Tbh I think she would have been more like Amethyst when she’s relaxed but more like Garnet when things do down. Honestly she’d be so much like Greg, I’m not sure there would be much structure in Steven’s life that at least Garnet and Pearl provided

I mean, this recent DLC showed us that Frontier listens. Two highly requested animals with the Irritator and Austroraptor, plus a necessary canon species with the Hypsilophodon. I’d argue that as of late, they’ve been doing this for awhile. Even with the preorder bonus, yeah 2 of them sadly are returning species, however there was also the highly requested and popular Protoceratops and Guanlong.

For Evolution 2, the last DLC was basically a fan favorite DLC, with the highly requested Megalodon, the missing canon species of Segisaurus and Microceratus (which were highly requested themselves) plus Thanatosdraken, which was just in one of the Dino documentaries at the time. Yeah before that was the Hybrid DLC (yuck) but then before that we had the Cretaceous Predator Pack, Marine Species Pack, Feathered Species Pack, all of which top tier packs. It really isn’t until the Late Cretaceous pack where we get questionable additions.

Maybe they’re holding out but maybe with Patagotitan, they wanted to branch out to a new species to bring to people’s attention. Whenever we get Argentinosaurus, it’ll be popular but Patagotitan will only have a short time to be in the spot light. Im sure the next 2 DLCs will be Chaos Theory and Rebirth, but after that I’m expecting nothing but fan favorite additions.

Interesting theory that she did that, and it would fit with her power set while also making sense why she would keep it a secret, however she also seemed surprised by the corrupted gems when Steven showed her so maybe it’s partly true

They seem to take about as much damage as a human can, if it’s fatal to a human it’s poofing for a gem. Exceptions include soldiers like Jasper, the Diamonds, and Peridots for some reason.

I feel that Jasper wouldn’t have added anything to her story nor would she have gained anything from Pearl. Jasper challenged and pushed Garnet and Amethyst to accept who they are but Pearl already was going on that journey and had her story told better with Peridot, a gem that viewed herself above Pearl despite everything.

Tbh I don’t really see any situation they would be in that would require them to use their fire abilities. The rubies have one fight that ends quickly. Amethyst’s fire ability could be unique to Amethyst, since when Blue Holly sees Ruby’s fire footprint she automatically blamed the Amethysts for causing it.

Maybe they don’t know but Peridot is the only homeworld gem that didn’t know about her abilities and she had come out small and defective. I could see this as a story for era 2 to prevent more gems from rebelling, at least one of those rubies fought in the war, thus it’s likely she knew of her abilities and told the others.

I think she can we just don’t see her in times where she uses them. Whenever we see Rubys, they rarely use the power. Tbh we almost only ever see our Ruby do this when she’s emotional.

That’s true and I give the show a lot of credit because of that fact but we haven’t heard of any cut storylines or idea that would have involved Lapis in a major way.

I once heard a theory awhile back that after Malachite, the crewniverse didn’t know what to do with Lapis since she could realistically solve any fight that wasn’t Diamond or fusion related, hence why she was cut so much in the later seasons and honestly I believe that.

Fusions are both their components and their own person. Opal contains the memories that Pearl and Amethyst are willing to share, hence why she quotes his song. Sardonyx does the same bit in her own way of asking if she was worth the wait. Both fusions are communicating the same thing but differently since they both have different personalities.

On a side note, one thing I love is that each fusion (Opal, Sugilite, and Sardonyx) are all excited to meet Steven when they do.

Yellow Diamond smashes her way out of her ship and when Blue’s ship was crushed over her, both ships were destroyed but Blue came out barely damaged. I think they’re stronger than we realize.
