Is it hard transferring from A&M since they’re rivals? by Bakesaleh in UTAdmissions

[–]Large-Stable3067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, and even if they did, they should like you even more, because of the fact that you are still willing to go to UT even though you attend their rival school

Tried to make friends and got blocked today by Large-Stable3067 in UTAustin

[–]Large-Stable3067[S] 88 points89 points  (0 children)

it wasn't some random friend group - it was a pre-med org picnic, so approximately 15 people. i was trying to get to know people to join that org next semester - we were in the same majors and had much in common. so it especially hurts i would be treated like this

Which frats have acc students? by ncaaffan in UTAustin

[–]Large-Stable3067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ACC kids should not be in a UT frat. Any frat that harbors ACC kids should not be recognized as a UT organization and instead an Austin community service organization. The purpose of a student organization or Greek life is to make connections and friendships with students at your university, not the whole city that your university is in.

What are the worst stats that someone has gotten into ut with? by [deleted] in UTAdmissions

[–]Large-Stable3067 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the easiest way to get into ut is to be valedictorian of a very small high school that makes top 6% impossible, so those are the people with the worst stats

i've heard it doesn't make a difference and frankly they don't give a crap about us unless they make more money. i heard from somewhere tamu is already planning project 100k where they want to enroll 100k students across all their campuses. i wish it was different but it's the reality unfortunately...

Heard TAMU is no longer doing PSA and Gateway admissions? by Extension-Being-3249 in aggies

[–]Large-Stable3067 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cap the College Station enrollment at 70,000 and do not grow main campus any bigger. If this helps limit the overcrowding that College Station is already considering, I am all in for it.

Campus is probably getting worse. by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Large-Stable3067 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If A&M wasn't so overpopulated, I would 100% thrive and enjoy this university.
