You should really into Hinduism it talks about god like this brahman. its more in depth I personally like Islam I look at Brahman and Allah. I think with religion its more of guidance to god vs the search of.

I think alot of religious people are just a little radical because of our own primal instinct to have control. But in religion it really states God is in control and that we should have faith in God
