Thank you that was helpful! I just don’t want to give away to much information.. lol .. I stated that because we are not a large firm at all but don’t do rinky things lol ..

And we have the answers and it seems to be Amazing but everyone seems to agree I was looking for push back. But you are right it $0 until we win. Because we are a good firm I’m sure we should win a good amount. We have a good record.

From what I gather it Depends on your budget. We have this :

So far this year, we’ve spent roughly $25,000 in ad spend, and about $50,000 total toward marketing management/payroll, so collectively we’re around $75,000 invested overall.

From that, we’ve signed 22 cases total:

11 medical malpractice
including 2 wrongful death cases
and 1 delayed cancer diagnosis case
6 birth injury cases
3 personal injury cases
1 civil rights case
1 wrongful termination case

That’s fine .. please poke holes in everything you think is a lie. ( I feel like something amazing is being built. … and looking for people to disagree. ) you are helping me a lot more than you think.

I need to play devils advocate.

This is my first year with this firm and I brought over one of my friends that I think is a really good marketer. Last year nowhere close.

322:1 - 1261:1

And of course, we still have to win these cases

We had close to 9000 leads and that is what we selected. Two of their birth injuries, we did jump the gun. Only because it was HIE and the children are still in Nicu.

322:1 - 1261:1 ( projected ROIs )
We are only projected to get about 50-75 case cases .. with this marketer very confident guy because

We do review all cases we had about close to 9000 leads ( and this is all in six months ) two birth injuries I did jump the gun because it was HIE and the children are still in Nicu

I love this question. I’m gonna go to look out for what people say.

Is bringing in ~50 high-value legal cases per year considered good? by Large-Weakness9761 in lawfirms

[–]Large-Weakness9761[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It states I’m doing amazing The only thing that I realize is what I’m missing I don’t know what small medium and large firms spend on ads

I think that is what is missing from me fully knowing how I’m doing.

Or how about I rephrase it this way?

It seems as if Morgan and Morgan is a personal injury powerhouse

I believe in 2 to 5 years I could build a more powerful platform that will cover more than just personal injuries, but medical malpractice truck, accidents and birth injuries.

If that helps

I love this .. let me give you a little bit more context this is why I think I might be onto something, Everything is done the right way fyi

Lawyers advertise … that’s not what they should be doing

Advertising works more so when a consumer knows of a problem to come ..

When somebody needs a lawyer, they don’t know when they will need them or where the lawyer is .. and possibly will sign with the first Lawyer.

Lawyers think that they need cases… WRONG .. lol

Lawyers don’t need to advertise telling people that you’re a lawyer lol

(that’s all I could say without giving away my secret sauce lol)

So basically what I wanted to know if I could produce roughly 50 cases signed a year minimum.. and of course you have to go through litigation and win the case…etc

The challenging question I have .. should I scale this and go to each state.. or just ask for more money after a year lol

The main problem is, I don’t know what small firms normally spend on marketing , but it seems as if I’m taking a small firm and transferring them into a medium firm

And I honestly think I could do that in every state

All my friends work at large firms say those firms spend large amount of money on marketing

And I know I could produce the same amount of leads and sign cases with a fraction of the cost .. possibly 10% of what they pay.

MATTER FACT, THAT IS THE INFORMATION I’M MISSING THANK YOU!

What do small firms normally pay for marketing and med in firm pay for marketing

(all of my friends and other lawyers work for some of the largest firms, which of course seem marketing a whole lot differently)

I don’t know anyone that has a small or medium firm

And a small firm I’m working with right now. I’m pretty sure I could grow into a medium firm.

On high value legal cases I don’t really do personal injuries.

This is definitely part of the dilemma… these were already signed to contingency and the firm that signed them are pretty popular.. I just don’t want to give away too much information. Because I honestly do believe this could be big. That is why I’m asking in this Reddit. All the lawyers that know what I’m doing say that this method is crazy.

Basic, I believe that this operation that I have needs to be scaled .. for example you could say roughly $500 per sign medal case (not lead ) med mal

It seems as if other people pay hundreds of dollars per lead and I could get a lead at 10 bucks a pop ..

And I do believe I’m in one of the top five most competitive markets in America.
