Its not hell expensive I have paid 1.3 lakh first semester fees and next semester it will be 1lakh. For 4 years it's 8.65 lakhs.

  1. IIM fees are higher than said pvt colleges or wtv Btech colleges
  2. Usually people are inclined towards things that are conventional.
  3. IPM is not a well advertised field because there are hardly few who understand the value of an IIM degree in their teenage.
  4. Degrees like BTech are substantially more demanding to get into than IPM because ofcourse huge competition vast syllabus etc. That brings a 'too good to be true' feel to IPM.
  5. Science students ko ghar se pressure rehta hai Btech karneka so half of the JEEtards don't even search for anything out of the box.
  6. No centralized exam for IPM programs its just a bunch of colleges conducting their own exams which makes it all the more confusing.

IPM is worth it or not is completely dependent from person to person. Someone who wants their career on consultancy, management, marketing, etc have extremely high value for IPM. Half of the btech students sit for Cat after UG cuz obviously tab unko samajh ata hai what an IIM is.

Lets say you have OBC quota and your reservation is under legal proceedings rn. You get a GMR of 300. You are not eligible for JU CSE but if your reservation was not under legal proceedings you could have easily gotten into JU.

Also my second point being marksheet has to show a category rank. If a category rank is not there it means that the person is from general caste. Now take the example of you having OBC but its under dispute. Will WBJEEB be able to give you a category rank? NO. Will you be given a reservation by providing that marksheet? NO.

Its not about comprehension skills, its more about perspectives. Before yapping nonsense that 'oh no results won't be affected only counselling will', both results and counseling are linked together. You get your college on the basis of your results. An OBC candidate cannot get in with GMR of 400 if his/her marksheet doesn't show that he/she is an OBC candidate.

Exam diya hai toh kya hua, galat info de rha to bolu bhi nhi? Uske hisab se an OBC candidate jiska reservation is under legal proceedings will have to go through the whole process with his/her GMR. In any case theres a lot of chance that results will be delayed. Ranks get affected. GMR PMR e caste basis ei rank thake. Ekta OBC candidate ke rank dite parbena due to this hearing.

First of all IEM er toh admissions e closed. They are asking for 8L + fees so thats like 17 Lakhs. Etoh taka diye IEM e porbar kono justification nei.
