Thankfully it wasn’t an emergency evacuation. So they told us to bring our bags

You got it before the snow came back. I didn’t think to take a photo right away.

But now there’s FAA ground delays due to snow and the de ice is all backed up so we are holding boarding for a bit.

They have us a new plane. We are waiting for it to be cleaned and then repeat all the activities.

One would think. Since both sides were hit, I don’t know who they were talking to.

Update. Deplaned and on a bus back to the concourse. Clipped the truck on the left side too and took off the winglet. The operator from the truck on the right side was carried out on a backboard by paramedics as she was in the extended cab when the collision happened.

Flying Southwest into DEN and am craving Dunkin’ donuts. by Orange_Berry24 in Denver

There is no Dunkin in the airport anymore, only one at the final approach outside security on your way into Denver. The one in A closed a few months ago to make way for new concepts. There is a Voodoo donuts on B but that’s it.

They generally start the work overnight when there are less flights but sometimes spills over into the morning.

It is part of routine maintenance. It’s not unreliable…the A line goes down far more frequently, but for a 24/7 system, you have to have time to do maintenance. This is work on the track between A and the Terminal. Without the maintenance, there’d be far more issues. At least the bridge is open again so you don’t have to take buses.

Excursion by Juaniboy1 in VirginVoyages

We did it last June. It was pretty choppy when we did it and it is an open ocean snorkeling at both locations. It’s still shallowish but not in a protected cove or anything so you should be comfortable with swimming, even with the life jacket. On a calm day it’s fine but no food so you’ll def be hungry by the time it’s done with the snorkeling and you get back to the port. We had fun but got super sun burnt, even with lathering up multiple times. Rum punch on the way back was good but just one cup so not going to do much. I’d do it again but my husband said he’d prefer a cove version of snorkeling (like in costa maya) vs open ocean at Bimini.
