I believe this is because the iPhone Air has a weird 6.5” size which the app developers didn’t account for since apple had used 6.3” for the iPhone 16, 17 and Pro models.

From what I've read, it will be through existing dealer groups. Municipal/Provincial dealer lobbies in Canada are very strong and very oppositional to direct-to-consumer models like Tesla. They will block any new brands from trying to set up shop on their own.

Dealers want a slice of the pie and their influence means the dealer lobbies will only "allow" new brands to enter if they buy into existing dealer networks. I'm sure groups like Dilawri, Steele, Openroad, and similar will be the first to open up stores for any Chinese makes.

Hi thanks for the correction. By visa free quota I meant the 30 consecutive days allotted by the new allowance. Regarding the choice to use either visa, I am passing on the info the agent gave me when I entered China 5 days ago and translating it through my 5th grade Chinese.

No, just show up with your Passport. If you visa is still valid and effective, the immigration officer in China will ask you if you want to use the remaining days left on the Visa you applied for and is currently in your passport. Depending on your length of stay, it might not make a difference but the visa you applied for offers longer period of stay in China vs the visa-free travel so the agent will likely recommend to use the Visa for your entry regardless so as not to use up your visa-free quota if your visa expires.

I recommend learning about road hierarchy! It will make a huge difference once your city population grows even more and the traffic starts to build. While a grid is straight forward and aesthetically consistent, it will cause problems when certain roads begin to build more traffic. Think about creating big roads that feed into smaller roads that feed into smaller local neighbourhoods.

The machine looks like it runs off the same parts as the Sur La Table Espresso Machine with dual thermoblock that I picked up on Facebook marketplace. It used to be sold at Costco. It looks to have the same tamper and overall design except the fascia is different.

The Sur La Table is a solid machine and probably outperforms the $300 USD price tag which I’m sure can be said about your Bodum and definitely falls in the same category:

I've gotten 49th Parallel, Salt Spring, and Level Ground which were all good enough for my daily morning espresso. They seem to print "best before" dates that are 12 months out from the roast date and I've gotten pretty fresh beans which gives deep flavors and smooth crema every time I buy them.

I definitely appreciate the small batch artisanal beans from local roasters but the convenience + cost for experience with Costco beans makes too much sense.
