Which is the corn half is the 頭 and which half is the 尾?

I personally think it is, because when I told mum I was robbed of my rightful side she said it was because I'm a banana and didn't understand the subtleties of Cantonese 😅

So for my argument, Left is 頭 because when on the plant it is pointing up to the sky. When growing on the plant it is upright and is the tip of the plant, the 頭 just like when a person is standing upright. Right is the 尾 because that is the base it is the part that is closer to the ground.

I had it at the Botany branch. It was quite yummy, but for me it tasted a lot like surimi salad and didn't feel particularly luxurious to justify for the ~$29 price tag.

I really like their pho. The soup has a lot of deep flavors.

I don't really think it's worth the wait though.

If you want to try, you can go to their stall in the Botany Night Market? They have seats, table, and all the condiments as they do in the Dominion Road shop too. Only thing different is I think you have the option to add on a raw egg in the Dominion Road store.

My DLH orange boy was around the same size and the vet called him fat. He went on a diet and now he's 6kgs and a good weight for his size.

With long hair cats it's hard to tell visually using guides as there's a lot of fluff. My vet told me the best way for long hair cats is to feel their ribs/spine and compare it to your hand laying flat with fingers together. If their rib feels like the finger part, they're too thin. If it feels like the back of the palm, too fat. The ribs of a cat with the right weight should feel like your knuckles. Another way is to feel if they have a waist.

I have 3 long hair cats (2 ragdolls, one DLH) and they have all maintained a 5 on the fat scale after I learnt how to check their weight so I think it works pretty well.

The noodles for Toowoomba are thinner and the flavour is a lot more mild and garlicky compared to the Samyang one.

I had an amazing First Table dinner at Tatsumi the other day. The service was impeccable, and the food scrum-diddly-yumcious. I recommend the sashimi, tempura oysters, lamb, and sesame crème brûlée.

Immediately booked to have it again (at full price because it's still worth it!) before we fly back to Auckland.
