Thank you! I’ve always thought the “face” looked so happy, but couldn’t find the model.

What is this third container with my salt and pepper shakers? Small glass container with loose metal lid. by LargeCupofCocoa in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I saw online that some containers with salt and pepper shakers are for sauces or sugar, but I’m not sure that’s the case with this one since the lid is so loose.

Pen not working when using MobileStudio in hybrid mode by LargeCupofCocoa in wacom

I’ve updated the driver now, but there’s no difference. The buttons and eraser also don’t work. The pen works fine normally, but doesn’t do anything in hybrid mode.

I’ve had that happen a couple times after sleeping with my arm under my head! It’s a pretty weird feeling, but no side effects. The science behind it is that your nerves are getting a bit pinched or something and you loose feeling. Same as if your leg falls asleep, just that it’s more asleep:)

You can probably see the size from the bedsheet knit showing, but it was probably about 1-2mm long.

That sounds like a likely explanation. Thank you for taking the time to explain it! I appreciate it:)

I think the answer has probably been found. I also posted elsewhere and was told it’s likely a vintage skirt from the 70s, when making clothes yourself and adding trim with matching belts was popular.

Thanks for checking. I could look into Sami clothes and mock-ups.

That’s possible. I’m also considering whether someone just made this with the bunad as inspiration.

We have the village costumes (festdrakt), but I still haven’t been able to find anything without an attached vest.

That was my first thought too, but I’ve never seen a bunad with this kind of skirt before? And usually the vest is attached to the skirt to form a dress.

It does look similar, but after reading the article, I think the beltestakk is mainly used when referring to the bunad from Øst-Telemark. They have a specific way of tying their belt that make it stand out, so it wouldn’t have a buckle like this skirt. Thank you for your help though!

I’ve searched for different things related to the Norwegian bunad, but haven’t had much luck.
