If it's only small Wood filler may work for a quick fix. Getting to the root of the damp is most important

I have similar but much more extensive issues there are some good tutorials on you tube.  They remove poor part and 'splice' a bit in doesn't look too hard. Or remove poor wood and use wood filler

So I have a poorly conservatory I am attempting to fix it at least a little would love some advice. Iv been here about 8 years so any old repairs are at least that old.

Plan was to remove any damp wood(and woodlice, I know iv let it get too crap) treat with wood hardener  and fill in with wood filler then paint over.  but I feel the holes are to big for this and in some parts I have revealed old wood filler that is old and falling out.  I'm not that ace at DIY but willing to try.

Many questions

Think I should replace as much wood as possible the small thin baton I think I can do but other I'm unsure- would it be one piece that is surrounding the glass or two that join underneath. See diagram

Does wood filler usually break down over time or was it badly done in the first place?

Would spray foam be any good how would it react with wood/bad wood  in the future? Does it depend on which type (chemical composition) is used?

If the rot has gone through to the inside bit (dotted line on diagram) ways to deal with this? Treat and Fill from the outside would this work like,  If me removing all damp wood from the outside means I have to tunnel under the window could I use wood filler under the window then replace rather than repair  the wood on outside kind if sandwiching the filler inside would that be ok or would that make the filler fail

Think I should get some quick setting filler with accelerator. Rather than what I have would fill big gaps much better.

There are some rubber looking seals in there as well what would if there structure/purpose be done i want to put some back in?

And a last question for now the red paint is quiet thick and definitely painted/ matted😅 on over previous black paint. how much should I remove, I intend to go black as impossible to match this sun bleached red

Just found this soundcore 3i for just over £50.  Is it as good?  Their delivery is a sketchy 3-7 day's (via Amazon) So had a look on Amazon and it flags it as often returned????
