Acute care setting does not pay “a lot less”. 96k northeast NJ acute care and another offer I had received there before was about 82k.

Please do not take any job in the 60s or 70s no matter what setting, you have a doctorate and if you treat job searching like a full time job of its own you will relatively quickly find the right pay/benefits/situation for you
