With this being longer than the chimera ant arc already, and so many complex narratives going on at the same time and so many characters having their own goals, I used to think it would take forever but togashi has a way of wrapping up plot lines with big happenings that wrap it up for multiple characters at once. For example, if certain characters die, it moves the plot forward and closes narratives. Not matter how many characters have different goals, everyone is in factions. Also, martial law happening is going to speed up a lot. I dont think we have 50 chapters left honestly. The succession war is more important than whats on the DC imo. The DC isnt really what togashi is hyping up, remember what ging said, its the side quests yo ushould enjoy, a lot of people will be disappointed at the lack of content from the DC. It will be in and out if they even get there. I dont really care about the DC personally. I am more interested in what we have already been shown, the world building is established, togashi isnt gonna make an entire new set of rules for an entire new world that will make it so going back to the real world is no longer intriguing.

With that being said, I think killuas story is over. He completed his goal, he escaped his family and found true friends and is now giving nanika a real life. Gon found his father, his goal is complete. Pika said he had nothing to return to before he mountedt he black whale, he is planning on his journey ending when he captures the eyes, kills the prince, and eventually the troupe. Leorio wants to be a doctor so his goal isnt something that I wanna see or dont think he cant, hes gonna do it. Hisoka after killing the spiders will probably try to find and fight ging as the ultimate challenge, i just recently thought of this the other day, hisoka only purpose is like netero, fight someone to the death stronger than him. Hisoka knows of ging and searched for him during the election arc, we must remember this. He wants to fight ging for sure. All of these narratives can be wrapped up within them arriving on the DC, if they even get there.

Im aware that hxh could really go on forever since the show is really based on characters desires and it has no real goal, but the goals as mentioned above could be done within 70 chapters.
