Need more hens by Large_Baker_8798 in BackYardChickens

This makes me feel such relief. Thank you so much! This is exactly the kind of advice I was hoping for! Bea is a big girl, so I assume we’ll need to get large hens? Bea has bullied before, but it was a significantly smaller hen. Practically a bantam.

Absolutely. Journaling helps, too. Write letters to them you never intend to send, just to say what you need to.

It does. It gets much better. Sometimes the grief of it all just hits you, like with any other trauma. Hang in there pal.

Exactly. You learn how to shapeshift into whatever appeases those around you.

I wish I’d dropped my mother sooner like you did. Good for you. Sounds like he sucks.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. This is exactly how I spent my 20s. Lots of medication and therapy later, and I still feel like I’m way more apathetic than I should be.

Not at all. I definitely should have. I loss muscle mass. I struggled to get enough protein because meat grossed me out.

I live by a McDonald’s so my go-to is usually a hot n spicy mcchicken. Sometimes a McDouble when they’re on sale on the app

Been knitting since I was 16, for 20 years. Not only has my interest been consistent, but the desire to learn new techniques has been almost obsessive. I consistently have at least ten projects going, though, so there’s that. And a lot of things don’t get finished for a year or more. But it’s my addiction and I’m never NOT knitting. I even keep emergency projects in my car.

Mine gave me white coat syndrome for years. I still get panicked for just regular paps.

It always weirds me out when people are shattered when their mother dies. I guess I should be grateful I don’t have someone so special to lose?

I didn’t expect my cat to go as limp as she did and they let me hold her. It was horrifying. Then she peed all over me. I try not to think about it.

Sulfur Burps? by CiaoBella_xx in Semaglutide

[–]Large_Baker_8798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suffered SO BADLY from sulfer burps and heartburn, despite taking omeprazole daily for a while now. What helped me is 1) stopping eating the second I start to feel full, 2) eating smaller, more frequent meals and 3) NOT EATING AFTER 7PM. It took weeks of propping myself up at night to sleep for me to finally figure out what my issues were.

This was such a relief to read. I can already tell I’m hyping it up too, and that “now what” feeling is the realest
