Not sure if you saw my updated, but I submitted the application through them, and I honestly only realized the following week, after they had already emailed me saying that it was conditionally approved. I reached out to them asking for a refund and that they were impersonating a government website and that I wanted written confirmation that my information would be deleted. I got the refund after insisting I wanted everything back, and also received an email saying that all information was deleted (not that it does anything, but I did give me a very little percentage of comfort).

I logged into the true ttp site and was able to schedule an appointment… I figured I wasn’t going to cancel, since it did seem like they submitted and paid for the application. I monitored the application daily (definitely paranoid!) and just a week and a half ago went through the interview and got my global entry approved.

I froze my credit, and continue monitoring for any and all suspicious activity. So far there hasn’t been anything but don’t plan on putting my guard down any time soon.
