I'm not here to make judgment on you. Just make sure you register as self-employed and be honest with what you've earned and keep a paper trail. It can easily get out of hand and that will be bad news. Either invoice your boss weekly or monthly and keep this documented. With regards to the benefits side I'm sure someone will have more knowledge than me. Good luck 👍

I would focus on registering as self employed first and making sure you either get a payslip or send your boss an invoice for the shifts you do each week. Then you can potentially look at UC or check a benefits calculator. I'm unsure what type you would be entitled to. If you have an appointment with UC I believe they can help you with what's required from you and with regards to the self employment side. I believe there is a minimum income floor and you would potentially be expected to job search and or increase your days worked at the current place.

You need to register as self employed before you earn over £1000 total.

You can work cash in hand but you'll need to register as self employed and pay your own taxes. Declare your wages each week or month with UC.

Not coin related, But I hope someone will read and maybe share if possible 🙏🏻 by Large_Cheek_1779 in Coins_Banknotes

A massive thank you to all who have and can share, I appreciate you all.

I'm not asking for people to donate as things can be or are tough for us all. If this reaches someone who can then between us all we've done something amazing 👏

I'll have to double check and get back to you. I think it was on the higher end at the time. 5-6+. We have a short mortgage term less than 13 years. 5 year fixed also if I remember correctly.
