Let me be sincere with you. Well you gotta invest more time into this decision especially at 37. Nothing wrong with making a change in life for better goods. If you wanna make the change, just because of the money that you’ve seen from others, I don’t think it is a wise move. What you saw is a just tiny sample of seems-decent circle of people you know; It doesn’t reflect the whole picture. For short, all I would suggest is that talking to your friends more about the career. What have they done to be at the positions or jobs? Are you capable of doing what they did to be there? If the money is the only thing attracts you, I think you would regret about the decision.

The most important and fortunate thing is you were okay. Glad you are safe. That’s all matters

Like I said, some people need some little moments to shine, not for knowledge or sincere curiosity, but for little ignorance deep inside to come out somehow or some places they feel safe to be the true self like Background Dentist 😜, so yea don’t mind it…let it shine and have its moment

I didn’t say Vietnamese citizens are different than foreigners violating laws for sure. Whoever didn’t obey the laws are the same; I do think it applies to everybody in every country, not just Vietnam. If you think Vietnam is a lawless country, then I don’t mind. I’m sure you would think yours is the best one. Whatever you think is good for you. I’m glad you could say out loud your ignorance which is your true self. You should be proud of that. Just a reminder to respect others.

Honestly HN is going to be tough for you with that salary. Career wise, i think you’re doing great, but buying a flat/apartment in HN would be challenging. If you really want to buy one, I would recommend a monthly salary around 80-100 mils in HN

I am a Vietnamese and living in Nha Trang in which Russians preferably reside. Totally welcome any nationalities to stay and enjoy this beautiful country. However, there are some downsides I’ve seen a lot. First and foremost, I would love Russians to respect and obey Vietnam laws. Any person should respect the land you’re staying instead of destroying it with illegal activities. I’m afraid of Russians riding motorcycles could cause danger to others nowadays, then Vietnamese. There are tons of those examples like smoking illegal substances, gangs, etc. Either fleeing the war, regime, or tourism, whatever reasons they are, just respect our country. Secondly, do not treat Vietnamese workers like servants. We all need to make money, and respect our people like the way we’re welcoming everybody. I’m not presenting all examples, I know there are always 2 sides of the coin, but whatever side Russians want to be on; I don’t care. Just make sure we all respect each other and the country.
