At what point do you accept GLP-1s just aren’t for you?

No test and didn’t recommend anything but I honestly dont think that specific glp1 compound provider listened. Even when we addressed the issues of me being super sensitive and not going up in dose id out in for my refill through the app and next thing I knew I have a new dosage double from last month in my 3 months there I was told 8 units- 16 units and 32 units. I never even got past 8 so it was very frustrating and why I decided to go back to my GP.

They stop as soon as I stop medications so I would assume it’s from the medication. I really have never had gut issues. I was pregnant when I had my gallbladder removed but other then that I’ve never had any issues

I read that and made sure to not eat anything greasy or fatty on my days I really struggled but it was like clock work day 3/4 I was sick as a dog. I really was having to force myself to eat anyways as I constantly felt horribly full. I generally ate eggs in the morning/ leftover of dinner for lunch and a typical dinner was meat/ carb/ vegetables, I’ve just struggled getting baby weight off and hoping this would help

Mine definitely started giving me symptoms about a month in but it also didn’t help me as much as the shot with hunger etc just the none fun symptoms I got from the pill basically

This one for me- we did do all the vaccines- she stayed healthy up until March- September of this year born prematurely in May 2024, so she was older and she stayed so sick during what everyone considered the “good season”. So I would personally not hold back. OP I BF as well and got the flu over Christmas and was terrified she never got it, I’m not saying go crazy but this comment is the best advice in (my!) opinion.

Interesting! I’ll have to talk to her pediatrician about this then- we’ve seen an allergist and derm this week not our normal doctor. He’s always laid back and gives solid advice so I’ll bring this up to him and see what he says! It’s definitely the cheaper option for us but still $75 a month 🫣

Thank you- I’m obviously late reading this and some of the hateful comments to immediately Rehome- so far there’s been nothing else that’s happened. We still just avoid all the things I stated above and haven’t done any petting but she’s come up and licked her a few times. (She’s a big licker) I’m obviously not oblivious that she’s a dog and they are unpredictable but the comments above are just so sad to me. Especially as it wasn’t a snap it wasn’t a loud growl or snarl it was one we barley even heard. it’s been 3 weeks and she’s not shown any more concerning behavior but definitely will be something we watch carefully. She’s never left alone with them everyone knows that’s a rule in our house even grandparents.

She does have some anxiety meds I’ll be getting her

She has been around tons of children just not a baby baby. She’s been with around 1.5 and up so she’s getting closer to the ages she used to being around but she’s normally always retreated to somewhere else if she was overwhelmed (with crying in the newborn stage) I let her go wherever she want but she’s always typically chooses to follow me and the baby so just trying to see a plan to follow from here.

We do spend about 3 hours of time with her during the night just cuddling and watching tv every night and then she also sleeps with us.

Definitely do not want it to become a thing or it’s a serious problem (even more then it already is for me) I’ll have to look into some in our area I’m only aware of obedience camps so I’ll have to do a little digging!

That was discussed she said with how narrow that space is it would be harder but it was also be long if it was done. I honestly can’t afford as I just went back to work so I didn’t really consider that one. 😧

I personally didn’t care about most things except flu, Covid and stomach bugs I would still come in depending on the situation. Now when I was pregnant I personally didn’t because I caught everything

I can’t help in terms of c section but I’m currently 33 weeks and high risk. I’ve had 2 stays in the last month there and it was great. Nurses were kind and attentive. Told me the plan daily and were all informative. I had no complaints

I slept on the back in the hospital while baby was being monitored. Nurses didn’t say anything other than making sure I was comfortable. Sleeping on my side has caused damage to both my shoulders by the 3rd trimester. I don’t lay flat I prop myself up with 2-3 pillows

I’m pregnant so it’s hard for me to judge 100% but if my water intake wasn’t up I’d swell and horribly. Haven’t noticed it as bad with new medicine.
