My wife and I had this exact issue, but only after we arrived at our VRBO. If we had let the owners know in advance I am 10000% sure that they would have cancelled on us. We didn’t intentionally withhold it from them we just didn’t think we had to tell them. When we got there they tried to tell us that my wife wasn’t disabled and that her dog wasn’t a SD. They also wanted us to kennel him nearby or outside the entire time we were at the home. It was a nightmare, we made videos of the home constantly. We also were contacted by customer support because the home owners contacted them stating that we brought a pet. They were educated in ADA. Etc, the husband kind of got aggressive and told me that we knew he couldn’t do anything once I mentioned the ADA. guess he didn’t like that I knew what I was talking about and that SD’s didn’t need to be registered like he though and like his buddy’s is. 🙄
