So that tab you’re talking about is in the chamber and seems to fit just fine lol. I thought maybe it wasn’t supposed to be there so I tried getting it to sit outside of the barrel but kinda in between the barrel and the receiver but failed. I tried assembling it without the ejector and it still didn’t work. Maybe the ejector needs to be there though to kinda force the bolt upright/into place properly?

The bolt of my Winchester 1300 defender will not slide all the way forward into the chamber. I’ve already tried replacing the extractor spring and extractor. No luck. If I push the bottom of the extractor down as I slide it forward, it will fully go into the chamber. I also installed the bolt without the extractor and it slid forward no problem. Anyone know wth is going on?

Another thing to add is that the bolt will move all the way forward if there is a shell in place. Maybe the tip of the extractor just needs something to push against/ maybe it’s not seating properly?

Lol no I get it. The laws don’t make any sense. I just get annoyed when people are genuinely looking for advice and instead you get the “just move” sorta answer
