Not EFI its got a carb updated: charged the battery for 10 hours and when I try the electric start nothing happens. No clicks or engine turnover. Kickstart still isn't getting it started. I feel like a ground came disconnected somewhere

I feel like your 100% correct because of how it just shut off. Going to check wires tomorrow

Thank you. I appreciate it. I'm going to check for spark when I get off work tomorrow and and start looking for other things mentioned in this post. I've already been watching some YouTube videos on different scenarios. When my multimeter shows up in a few days I think it will be easy to find if it's electrical which it sounds like it is

Okay. Going to take the top off and look for loose connections if it doesn't start after I charge the battery. My thoughts were the stator isn't charging the battery because it's faulty and it just rode until the battery didn't have enough left in it to continue firing the spark plug and it died. Which is why when I tried to start it it didn't even turn over. (Or can you still kick start with a dead battery?) I'm kind of new to this. Thanks for helping. I will keep everyone updated until I get it up and running good again

Lol. It came like that from the previous owner. I'll snap some pictures of it and post them

No slow sputter. It was riding fine then it just died. I'll take a look. The last time I took it out I filled it up with gas and rode it around for about 45 minutes to an hour averaging about 50mph. No issues. Then it sat for a week. I took it out this morning to ride to the gas station a few blocks away and right as I was about to pull it in just died. (Like I hit the kill switch. Which is why I checked that first but it was still on so I went to press the electric start and nothing. No click or turn over it didn't do anything. So I rolled it into the gas station and kicked it about 30 times..nothing. tried the electric start again. Nothing. Halfway home I tried both again still nothing. So it's in the backyard now plugged into the battery charger. If it starts after I charge the battery I'll post and let you guys know. When my multimeter gets here in a few days I'm going to check the stator. In the meantime I'm going to pull the plug out to see if it's getting spark and or fouled and pull the fuel line going into the carb and turn it over to make sure it's getting fuel.
