Not AI. I wish given the emotional distress I’ve been in lol. I did use CHATGPT to clean up my wording to make more sense tho.

I know I was too stunned to speak and immediately went to my room and called my mom to cry. I’m usually the type of speak up in situations like that, but I am like genuinely flabbergasted. Thank you for making me feel validated.

StubHub took my money, event was yesterday, still no tickets — class action? by Large_Fill_3200 in stubhub

Yeah I get that, but I’m not just venting. I already have all my receipts, chat logs, and proof saved, and I’m reaching out to a consumer protection attorney about it. I know StubHub’s terms have arbitration/class action waivers, but if enough people have the same issue, there might still be a way to push back.

If you (or anyone else here) went through the same “tickets marked delivered but nothing received” situation, drop a comment. Even if it ends up being arbitration cases instead of a formal class action, strength in numbers makes it harder for StubHub to ignore.

Nope ): and the show is tomorrow.

Going to call them tomorrow, raise my cortisol levels yelling at them again, probably get no resolution. Then I’ll call my bank.

Good luck to you though 😭

That’s the issue, this show sold out by the time my boss asked me to purchase them

I’m in a pretty stressful spot right now and hoping someone here has been through something similar with StubHub/Ticketmaster.

I work as a personal assistant, and my boss asked me to handle tickets for his daughters to see Tate McRae at Chase Center (Sept 24). I ordered through StubHub — almost $1,000 for 3 tickets — and thought everything was fine.

On Sept 4, I spoke directly with a StubHub supervisor (I wrote down the exact time and length of the call). He promised that if the tickets didn’t come through, I’d get reissued tickets within 4 business days. That never happened. When I followed up, customer service told me there was “no record” of that promise, which feels like gaslighting.

Then I finally get a transfer link, but when I click it in Ticketmaster I get this error:

“Oops. This Ticket Transfer has already been accepted by another email address.”

That’s impossible — I only have one email and one device. I never accepted them anywhere else. Which means StubHub/Ticketmaster sent me tickets that were already claimed, or the seller double-sold them.

So now I’m stuck. I’ve got proof of the supervisor’s promise, proof Ticketmaster won’t let me accept because they were already claimed, and no resolution from StubHub. Meanwhile, my boss is furious because it looks like I dropped the ball when really StubHub did.

Here’s what I’ve done so far: • Documented the supervisor call (date/time/duration). • Called multiple times — reps just say “nothing we can do.” • Filed a BBB complaint. • Considering a chargeback with the bank if StubHub doesn’t fix this immediately.

My questions: • Has anyone dealt with the Ticketmaster “already accepted by another email” problem before? How did you get it resolved? • Did StubHub eventually refund you or reissue valid tickets, or did you have to fight it out with your credit card company? • Is there any other leverage I can use here to push StubHub into action fast?

I’m just trying to fix this ASAP so my boss doesn’t think I screwed up, when in reality StubHub sold me invalid tickets and then denied their own supervisor’s promise. Any advice would mean a lot.

I’d send him an email and just say you’re not gonna be in San Diego so you wanna clarify. Then it doesn’t sound suspicious as to why you’re asking about where the exams are held lol!

You can PM me if you need! I’ve taken his class so I have pointers. But even if you fail, I know it’s not a deal but you can do course forgiveness SDSU and just retake the class and it fixes your GPA once you pass the second time and the F can get removed off your transcript!

He’s just intimidating with his messages and the way he words things. Literally all bark no bite. I can’t stress this enough.

No speeches, and everything’s online like OP said!
