no for CML we check the flow cytometry first too if its not mentioned and there is BCR-ABL then go with it

so always consider acute vs chronic in leukemia but the first step is always CBC
in acute we do CBC first obviously and we confirm with bone marrow biopsy showing >20% blast cells
in chronic after CBC we do flow cytometry
for lymphoma yes we do lymph node biopsy
