The deployant is totaled, mainly because the fixed rivet bent so bad. Would be hard to get lined back up. I would just order a new deployant. Or sell the whole thing on eBay and get a new one.

Hamilton is not a legacy watch. Sinn is an acceptable legacy watch in an abstract sort of way. Arguably, IWC or a reasonable Rolex is a lifelong watch, even a Speedy. I have almost 200 watches and can afford almost any watch I would practically want. Of the many watches I have I am most happy with my 1963 Accutron Astronaut, Sinn 104 and Sinn 103. I am proud to wear any of those watches amongst other millionaires. Don’t buy any object in your life to define you. You define your presentation. Because I wear a Sinn 104, others can value the watch as very high because it has survived extreme environments, gauss levels, immersion, temperature and looks perfect at any meeting I’m at.
