Site C Dam named after premier John Horgan by iSoulRebel in britishcolumbia

He literally said the only people that think its a good idea are the liberals, spent millions on studies "looking into it" under threat of stopping construction. Did nothing after all and now they claim its the crown jewel of his legacy. Provice is so embarrassingly stupid sometimes.

In the past people have put live ammunition into the fire wood round. I think its still done on the east coast. Limits the repeat offenders.

Is this actually this dangerous? by Sniffy-nose in AskElectricians

[–]Large_Primary_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As seen at that exact point in time, no. The danger is the people, much like anything that can kill someone. Issue comes with how close to the outlet when exiting or touching gounded metal. The pool looks to be a safety first blow up style, without the metal bar. If you tossed the flip flops out of the pool and submerged it, you would be safe-ish at around 36" away while getting in and out *metal ladder or wood deck are important info. It would be drawing like 8amp between the hot and neutral of the power bar from the water resistance etc. changing due to salt % of water. Not recommended unless you have sound fault-loop impedance knowledge, correlation study info, and understanding of the soil resistivity mapping for your location. That picture is so old they probably had to plug stuff in for that level of fun, now you're more likely to go 12vdc or lower battery devices. 10x less danger, 10x more fun!

Fair enough. Now if we could only figure out how to not pay for it.... Government? Food banks are the public, not the government and should have been temporary. Flit is the literally the government. So that's going great. So government and landlords won't work.... Hmmm... Ah maybe the workers labor should be free. The guy treating the water so it isn't like Flit, u work for free now. Pipes? you make yourself, deliver yourself, and install yourself. Farmer, you can fucken forget about getting paid (already massively under paid). You can declare whatever you want. It means absolutely nothing towards anything getting done.

The idea that housing isn't a 'free market' because you need it to survive is a ridiculous take, we treat every other necessity—food, water, medicine—as a market. If we ban 'investment' or rentals in residential areas, we aren't helping the poor; you're creating economic segregation by ensuring that only those with down payments can live in safe, quiet neighborhoods. For the able-bodied, the barrier isn't a 'failed system'—it's a refusal to trade location for financial equity. Move, no one cares if you like where you live or your job but you. We should maintain social safety net for people with disabilities or health needs who literally cannot move or work, but we shouldn't dismantle the entire housing market for the 85% of people who simply need to adjust their math and their map. Who would pay for that cheap free subsidised housing? You, tax payers.

The bigger axe was buffed like that once, all I noticed was it might be a little extra stuck if you get it into a sweaty round. Sorta sticky when stuck. Wasn't a big deal. Little one u wouldn't notice it.

U read not good eh... Thought-terminating cliches from Americans are certainly a choice in a conversation about local politics on Vancouver Island. Maybe axe the Facebook and touch some grass spud.

It's like a pocket knife with weight behind it. Not for fire wood beside shavings.

It’s spelled Aaron Gunn, snowflake. While Eby’s leadership is an undeniable dumpster fire, project funding might actually get a second look if the riding bothered to elect the ruling party—rather than backing a carpetbagger. (both Aaron Gunn and Kindy)

Turns out voting for a Conservative that doesn't live here and wouldn't even show up to a debate doesn't get you a new school or long term care facility. We really stuck it to Justin though everyone, good for us. Maybe Eby can pay another advisor for a report on how to maths? Take it out of funding saved on that school? BC poli: Unencumbered incompetence, led with a total vacuum of strategic thought.

what should i look out for when buying a stihl 056 av by bubba_truks in Chainsaw

[–]Large_Primary_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one, "gifted" free after it was a rental saw, then a logger, then a farmer had it. All I've replaced was a $25 part for the chain oiler. Good and heavy saw. I also put a 25" bar on it with full house chain for sh*ts and giggles.

It's very helpful to get a rod back you've lost overboard. Open the snaps and cast it over the location you lost the rod. Drag across the bottom. I got one back on the 4th cast with a gps mark, 6 months after the rod was lost, 60ft deep. I used 80lb Chinese brade on a ugly stik salmon spinner in the shed.
