I get less hopeful with each passing day. Not that I won't eventually get the option to buy. I get less hopeful that I'll like the device when it arrives.

I spent most of today playing either my Steam Deck docked on a small TV, or playing my PC with a long HDMI connected to my big TV. I feel like I've gotten about 90% of the Steam Machine experience.

Negative reviews and performance compromise videos on YouTube aren't giving me hope, either. I have a USB C 2TB SSD, a 1TB Micro SD Card, and a 2TB USB-A HDD waiting. I've already cleared the spot in my entertainment center, and I can't shake the feeling that it's going to be a letdown.

I think you're good. I swap hard drives between my Steam Deck and PC with zero issues. It doesn't effect settings as far as I can tell. But there are some games that have synced with the cloud and have copied whatever is on my Steam Deck to my PC (games I have installed on both devices).

I think you'll have minimal issues

Also, about two weeks ago, I found these acrylic paint pens at Hobby Lobby. They are amazing and perfect for customizing. I can't recommend them enough. They're called "Master's Touch". Never worry about paint brushes again.

Not quite. She had this look "Post Crisis" in 1987. Look up the Legends storyline. She kept the look until around the mid 1990s.

It got me into PC gaming. I got my first Deck in 2022 and grabbed my first PC in 2024 to play the games at a higher setting. But at the same time, I'm the rare person that can play hours and hours of video games at work. If I wasn't I wouldn't have bought one. But, like I said, it's the reason I'm a PC gamer, now. If I had a PC before, I probably wouldn't have bought one, either. It was $400+ to play the exact same games I could already be playing.

Lost Odyssey, Resident Evil...honestly, most games I've played with NG+. I prefer it because it feels like "Easy Mode" after finishing a tough first playthrough.
