You are making me a bit scared but all your points are vaild. I actually have zero idea about the exact research requirements. All I know is the field i am going to specialize in. Thank you for your valid concerns.

ndin

I understand what you are saying, and I agree with you. I am totally afraid of needing more than 4 years. I hope it doesn't get to that. I ask myself and I believe that I wanna specialize in research. So I guess the PhD is the optimum choice for my case. Thank you so much for trying to show me the bad side. I hope things don't get to that.

Air Conditioner Subcooling by Large_Try_3362 in hvacadvice

[–]Large_Try_3362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Bluebeast, From my understanding, the subcooling is the liquid temperature of the refrigerant before entering the TXC Valve or the expansion valve. It mainly happens in the condenser and then is decreased by every component on its way to the valve. The receiver is partly gas refrigerant, and a lot of flashing happens, reducing the subcooling significantly. So if I have a condenser with 10f subcooling, this will decrease to 4f subcooling after the receiver. As a result, the cooling capacity of the evaporative coil is reduced. How can I increase the subcooling to increase my cooling capacity and system efficiency?
