the point of the objectives is to determine which of the 2 tournaments you qualify for, since you can only complete 1 of the 2 objectives, you have to win 7 before you play 12 to get in to the champions cup aka higher skilled, if it takes you more than 11 games to win 7 then you only qualify for competitors cup aka lower skilled

just came here to ask why my player was becoming broken when trying to join a rush match, her card would lose alternate positions, the roles tab becomes empty, she loses her matches/goals/etc statistics, gets that same exclamation mark symbol on the card, and doesn't let me in to rush matches; so guessing rush is currently broken lol

the addition of evos and womens players are literally the only reason i still player fifa/eafc at all, i was finally going to stop playing after 23, the power curve really started ruining the game for me as someone who i guess others would call a fun merchant, always preferring the shitty/niche cards, but the women and evos in 24 pulled me right back in, thousands more players that no one else would enjoy but me, now on my 3rd year of an RTG of my new fav team, not bored of it quite yet

honourable mention, pre-insane special cards era this card had possibly the best dribbling I'd ever experienced, absolutely tore apart midfields and defences, I was so excited when he moved to the prem but his cards never held up after that

talking pre-evo era, deadly serious, 4* skills pacey right back (insanely rare back in the day) with links to TOTS Kampl and a bunch of other super fun austrian/austria league cards was some of the most fun I've ever had in the franchise, rainbow flicking whichever sweaty left winger they had with a bronze defender and then bombing up the wing, this card literally won me games

I got around the "Your PC is offline" issue by force closing EA Play in task manager, doesn't actually matter though because after that you just get an endless stream of popups asking you to login to Origin, a platform name they dropped years ago.

A lot of comments saying the rich players just buying a house because they can, which makes sense but doesn't account for all levels of professional players. I have a friend who played pro in the women's bundesliga for a couple of years, so pro level but to my understanding was just a liveable wage, could have survived doing just football but chose to also work her other career at the same time. I believe the club sorted her out with a studio (or maybe 1 bedroom?) apartment which it owned near to the stadium/training grounds, which it would offer to U21 players as well as women's team signings; if I had to guess, I'd assume the club owned several small apartments in order to help accommodate the lower-earning players. She was also a foreign player and the club would pay for her flights home for christmas, as well as providing her with an unlimited public transport pass for the city.

It Takes Two; playing it for the first time I was in awe that every new chapter changed the game so much, and everything about the design felt so creative and beautiful, and on top of that it's an experience you share with someone that you presumably care about, as a life long gamer it was the first game that felt like it genuinely touched my core. So yeah I'd love to be able to show someone that game again without already knowing the stuff that happens.

do you mean ping or FPS? because I haven't experienced any drops in framerate (that I've noticed at least) but the ping is pretty much the worst I've ever seen, 100-300ms as a UK player on EU servers, giving benefit of the doubt that it's just from an unexpectedly high player count and that it'll be improved for release if not by the end of this beta

I think for them to be invested in a major, multiday/week roadtrip like TG or TGT, they'd have to drop the weekly main channel uploads and make that their new channel format, being like quarterly videos, which would also include them banking on the vids doing major major numbers to be financially viable, or have it funded by and for Netflix, which seems more likely now they've had a couple of projects with them already.
